Managing Connections on a Nominode

A Connection allows you to store accounts, passwords, tokens, keys and other sensitive information used by Tasks securely on your Nominode.

Creating a Connection

  1. Click on Connections in the middle of the left hand navigation menu of your Nominode.
  2. Set the Select Project field at the top of the page to the Project* that you would like to associate the new Connection with. 
  3. Click on the Create Connection button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
  4. Select the type of Connection that you want to store credentials and other information for on your Nominode.
  5. Add a unique Alias for your Connection.
  6. Fill in the credentials and other field values specific to the type of Connection that you have chosen.
  7. Click on the Create button in the upper right hand corner of the section or the Save button at the bottom.

Editing a Connection

  1. Click on Connections in the middle of the left hand navigation menu of your Nominode.
  2. Use the Select Project field at the top of the page to select the Project that your Connection is associated with.
  3. Locate your Connection in the list, using the search fields, if necessary.
  4. Click on the alias of the Connection in the Alias column.
  5. Click on the Unlock button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
  6. You can now modify the alias for your Connection and the other field values specific to it.
  7. Click on the Save button in the upper right hand corner of the section or the Save button at the bottom.

Viewing Connection Edit History

  1. Click on Connections in the middle of the left hand navigation menu of your Nominode.
  2. Use the Select Project field at the top of the page to select the Project that your Connection is associated with.
  3. Locate your Connection in the list, using the search fields, if necessary.
  4. Click on the alias of the Connection in the Alias column.
  5. Click on the History button on the righthand side of the page.
  6. By default, the most current version of the Connection will display in both the right and left panes.
  7. Click on the version selector at the top of either the left or right pane to display a different version.
  8. Lines that differ between the versions displayed in each pane will be highlighted.
  9. You can switch the Toggle inline button to view the differences in a single pane.
                        

Deleting a Connection

  1. Click on Connections in the middle of the left hand navigation menu of your Nominode.
  2. Use the Select Project field at the top of the page to select the Project that your Connection is associated with.
  3. Locate your Connection in the list, using the search fields, if necessary.
  4. Click on the alias of the Connection in the Alias column.
  5. Click on the Delete button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
  6. Click on Yes when prompted to delete the Connection.
